By the looks of it, one of the writers confirmed Littlest Pet Shop (2012) will have a Season 3 in the beginning of October. Don't hesitate to support him; find out more after the break!

"Littlest Pet Shop" Song Nominated for Daytime Emmy Award

Wow! Never thought "Littlest Pet Shop" would be nominated for an Emmy award*! I mean sure, it's a great show, but man...an Emmy??

Well, "Littlest Pet Shop" is nominated for "OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL SONG – CHILDREN AND ANIMATION":

“IF YOU’RE A GUY” (Daniel Ingram, Composer; Roger Eschbacher, Lyricist)

Julie McNally Cahill and Tim Cahill Interviewed at LA Festival of Books

Last weekend, at the LA Festival of Books in Los Angeles, the Hub network took the opportunity to host a premiere pre-screening of "Summertime Blues", including a Q&A with show creators Julie McNally Cahill and Tim Cahill! (Did you attend the screening? Tell us in the comments below)

2 BROKE GEEKS had its own interview with the Cahills at the screening, where they asked questions like how they got into animation, how they met, what they think fans of the show should be called (brace yourself), what they geek out about, plus much more! And the best part is: they filmed it!

The 5th annual Shorty Awards, which honor the best in social media, have once again started up, and a few people are nominated for Shorty Awards!
 
I heard that the voting however can be very strict. You will need to use a Twitter account with a bit of an age on it.  New ones do not work.

Daniel Ingram Tweets Behind-the-Scenes Picture of LPS Music

Daniel Ingram, song composer for "Littlest Pet Shop", posted this picture on his Twitter of some magical music-making that him and Steffan Andrews, other LPS song composer (on the right), make. The man on the left may be Daniel Ingram himself or somebody else playing an LPS song (Daniel and Steffan often bring in musicians to record live music for the songs on the shows they work on). Shannon Chan-Kent just posted a photo on her Twitter of a whole bunch of voice actors working in the studio for "Littlest Pet Shop"! How cool is that?!?!

The picture is a little skewed because it's a panorama, but the faces shown here in the studio are:
